Recent BIS Notices
Yesterday. BIS has published a Federal Register notice modifying its June 6, 2008 Temporary Denial Order (TDO) involving Ankair to cover all exports or re-exports of items subject to the EAR (i.e. the TDO is no longer a "non-standard" denial, and has been elevated to "standard" denial status). The change was based on evidence that Ankair has either violated the previous TDO or is about to engage in such a violation.
BIS has issued a press release announcing that the Temporary Denial Order for Ankair (Yesilkoy Asfalti Istanbul No. 13/4, Florya, Istanbul, Turkey TR-34810) has been modified to cover all exports or re-exports of items subject to the EAR. Federal Register notice will be published soon.

The Federal Register notice (73 F.R. 38971 dated July 8, 2008) concerning the following two parties has been added to the Denied Persons List: Reza Mohammed Tabib (aka: Reza Tabib, Re Tabib) of Winchester California -AND- Terri Tabib (aka: Terri Repic) of Winchester California.
